Now that you cannot find distress when glancing at the memory, let’s walk through each frame of the memory to make sure there are no pieces of distress hiding anywhere. In this step, I’ll guide you to play the memory one frame at a time and quickly container any distress that appears. We will cycle between playing the memory like a piece of video and calm scene with blinks until you can play the memory without distress anywhere.
When we are done with this step, the memory is considered processed in Flash approaches. See Help below for problems that may appear in this step.

- A surprisingly big piece of distress just showed up. That is normal. Sometimes really big chunks of distress appear in this step. Container, ground, and ShopVac if you need to before continuing. Distress tends to disappear quickly in this step, even though it may show up strong.
- Other memories want to come. Don’t let them. Container them. It is completely understandable that other memories want to come. But, in this approach, we always work one memory at a time.
